

1987 - KSU was incorporated in the State of Illinois. Privately held.
The 80s and 90s led to vertical expansion of providing seat components for the bus, rail, and airline industries.
2002 - KSU purchased all assets and rights of Terrier Corporation then reorganized and named the company Sedia Incorporated as a subsidiary of KSU.
2003 - KSU acquired the intellectual property rights of Coach and Car Equipment Corp. IL and Artcraft Industries, WI.
2005 - KSU established an affiliate company named FoamTek, Inc. to provide fabricated foam to transportation and other markets.
2007 - KSU acquired the assets of Irwin Transportation Seating Co.
2010 - Acquisition of transportation seating assets (equipment, intellectual property, and inventory) of Innovative Design Solutions, LLC (IDS).
Today, KSU and its collective resources owns and operates over 180,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space and employs over 250 people.
